We get these wonderful days to lay around and do nothing...
I'm hoping I can get you, Aaron, to do devotions with me today. We need to kickstart our devotional life together, simply because it is so important. My parents never really got me focused on a devotional life--I'm several years behind in that discipline.
Our walk with Jesus can only occur if we are communicating with Him, and He with us. Of course He makes it easy for us to hear him...all we've to do is pick up a bible. But, then, that's the trick, isn't it?
And Hannah, you're not out of this, of course, but your mom does a better job than I do in making sure that you are engaged in that area of your life...
Daytona is sprawled out in the backyard in the sun; if it wasn't 35 degrees, I'd be tempted to go join her :)
