Being at the center of it all

We just celebrated Hannah's 14th!!!! birthday with a party where she asked several friends over, a pretty eclectic bunch: Chris and JT, Kirsten and Laura and Brianna and Haley. I was struck by a couple of things...first, how blessed I am to have the kids I do, ready to open their home and heart to friends who need their love. Second, just how much love is needed by these friends...how lonely, or how empty they seem sometimes...It's good to be the source of love for others, and it's fun to be a parent when your kids want to become that central person...
